Oh, I totally agree. If I can’t sleep, I often go out for a walk with the dog at 2 or 3am. I love the other-worldliness and the sense of being the only person in that world. Monty, however, is less keen to go out at that time of night!

I could not sleep last night and was still wide awake at 1.30am. The final super moon of the year was so bright it lit my garden up like daylight. It was worth the insomnia! Magical. 😊

Have just watched Nuremberg. A fantastic piece of film making. Crowe is magnificent as Göring. Malek plays Doctor Kelley with captivating melancholy. A film for our times which explores historic events, rather proving how mankind repeats its mistakes. I thoroughly recommend it. 🎥

Whilst walking the backstreets of Marrakesh Old Town, I came across this tannery. The Berbers who live in the Atlas Mountains come here to process cow and goat skins. It includes soaking the skins in pigeon 💩 for a week. The smell in the high heat was heady! 🇲🇦
