This tracks pretty well with my thinking. I find it hard to imagine there are nearly as many 6s and 7s as people seem to believe there are. If there were that many actual 7-8s, the PT would be much larger and we wouldn't see the same players living at 10-6 and better on the PT.

That first leap is mostly a measure of resources and access to support. The next leap to consistently day 2-ing RCs is larger, but is also partially about resources. Bigger gap follows for making the PT.

But the Kai/PVDDR/JED/etc tier? THAT is where the gap gets stupid big, for the 8-10s.

The gap between the median Kinda Good player and the median Actually Good player is pretty wide. And the gap between us and the LeBrons is massive. It isn't actually *that* hard to get Jo Schmo Commander Player to the point where she could win an RCQ.

Anyway I have q'd for every single RC I have attempted to qualify for, most without a ton of effort. I skip most RCQs because I feel comfortable knowing I will Q. My elo is fine. I have not made the PT, but my face is on a Dreamhack banner.

Turns out, Russ as a hyperactive off ball engine + Harden's gravity was really really fucking good! It even worked in LA, though less so bc of Russ' age. Give me one year of actual Thunder Buddies hooping.
