Me too. But for a while I was using a cream I got off Amazon for, like, $30. No idea if it did anything though.

I broke 20,000 words.

For me, this is huge. For other authors, this is Thursday.

But yeah, wow. 633 words so far today.

Thread. Convention table prices are just skyrocketing to ridiculous levels, at least partially due to corporate consolidation even more than demand. (I’m looking at you, Reed Pop.)

If you’re lucky enough to be at ECCC, spend in artists alley if you can!

Try progesterone cream, maybe?

Happy birthday though? πŸ’š

Cassie being Cassie.

Cassie being Cassie.

Took awhile to get a decent one this morning.

Goodnight, my lovelies! Be well! πŸ’š

And another 204 words to close the day out! Today’s total, 2,178 words written. Definitely my all time record. Even better, I’m happy with all of them!

464 words into chapter 4 and I think this one is just going to get harder as I go on. Very happy with it so far though!

Part of me is so tempted to do a POV shift in the book now. But I don’t think that fits in with the entire rest of it.

Just got a β€œLast chance to join us!” email from ECCC.

Sigh.

I hope everyone has a great time and I really hope to be there next year.

Maybe, but I giggled.

Absolutely agreed.

Garfield definitely breaks the fourth wall though. He actually looks out at the reader fairly often. Snoopy does that occasionally, but not often.

I’d say theatrical dog, myself, but that might be because of my particular brand of neurospicy.

04.03.2026 17:16 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

I just finished writing 1510 words. Yes, fifteen hundred and ten words in about two hours.

Wow.

Of course, I’m now at the end of everything I’ve plotted out so far, so things will go a lot slower for a while.

But still…wow.

It just feels like an internal monologue to me. Do…do other people not do this?

04.03.2026 17:02 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

β€œI’m shockedβ€”shocked! to find gambling going on in this establishment!”

β€œYour winnings, sir.”

β€œThank you.”

04.03.2026 16:46 β€” πŸ‘ 8    πŸ” 2    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

True!

Knowing I have active readers now feels like a game changer to me. I suddenly understand the feeling of writing for an audience.

It’s a good thing, mostly.
