Busy day today. Laura had a colonoscopy, and I was designated driver both ways, first because she was beat up after prep and then because she was a little dopy. No sign of tumor recurrence, thank Whatever you feel like thanking.

I'm not quite halfway through reading "Through Darkest Europe" by @hntdove.bsky.social He writes fiction based on twisting history. This one is a tale that speaks very loudly to all kinds of extremism. But in his history, the Muslim world is the First World. It is absolutely a MUST READ for today.
