I've watched students in law school open up AI and get notes from it on their readings in order to converse in the classroom or add them to their outlines for final exams. It's disheartening to watch people pay so much money to then do so little when they are capable of such greatness as learning.

When a student uses AI for their assignment, it makes me sad. What led you to throw away your own power of knowledge and thought, your ability to reason? How have we failed you in not helping you grow up in a world that prizes your brain, your being, above all else?
