If you need a visual, imagine the current system of oil extraction spewing endless CO2 into our atmosphere being replaced with the deep roots of native plants, each one storing carbon where it belongs, in the ground.

My hope is eternal because we already have the solution to help heal our planet, just add some native plants to your landscape. It really is that simple.

In my mind if everyone was honest and just admitted we have an addiction to fossil fuels maybe we could finally have the courage to stop extracting and increase our investment in the renewable energy industry with the tax dollars currently used to kill our planet. Imagine that future.

It's because of the connections with money and power, it corrupts everything. What gives corporations the right to mine (steal) without abandon, who owns the Earth?
These are the questions that I will continue to ask as we move forward into an unknown climate future.

It's part of the Earth's rhythm that is now being disrupted by increasing CO2 levels in the atmosphere.
I don't understand why we continue to use and invest in an old destructive technology that leaves behind a toxic mess when we now have alternatives that are more economical than drill baby drill.

I have to admit this weekend's temperature forecast has me anxious, the first week of October in SE Wisconsin with highs in the upper 80's. I'm one of those few people who enjoys having four seasons, it makes life interesting and keeps the insect population in check.

Returning to a subject I was discussing this morning on X, I think a single video like this does more to radicalize people against ICE than any loaded rhetoric any politician has ever used, and DHS should think very hard about the consequences of supporting this kind of behavior from its agents.
