That's true, I'll probably square it up on the retake (but only a little bit; a big element of my design philosophy seems to rely on impracticality).
I like to think the engineers forgot to program any capcity in him to realise when things are actually working, so "his best" may be an unrequested complete overhaul of something perfectly functional.
The best he can do is requote for the work 'cause the cost of materials has gone up since he last vanished from the job :D
Gonna revisit this one for "empty" as the idea is it's an autonomous chasis with a storage area for a body.
I figure the body can be loose equipment like this, or job-specific units, but this one illustration maybe doesn't convey that idea well enough.
March of Robots, no 11; Work.
Can he fix it? no, it's fucked.
:D Thanks :D
"wonderful having skin" brilliant :D
Thank you! It seemed like the right thing to do to fully disguise the feet :D
Thank you!
It seemed like the right thing to do for one of my robots, with their two toes.
:D Thank you!
#MarchOfRobots, no 4 (again); Crown.
Teeth, exploding through the top of the head.
March of Robots, no 4; Crown.
Did this one as a robot head. The design was more crown like in my head but, as I drew it, it turned into teeth...
Might try this one again, just to ensure that I don't get out of whatever backlog I have.
Thank you, much appreciated :D
:D Glad it's been noted, I had fun with that little feature.
I'm behind because my ideas haven't felt particularly inspired.
But I'm happy with this one though; it's playful and there's a narative behind it. My other ideas for "hide" were fine but didn't strike a chord with me the way this did.
#MarchOfRobots, no 9; Hide.
Though still childish in nature, the scientists had to agree that the robot's attempts to escape had become drastically more lethal of late.
Thank you! Much appreciated :D
:D Yeah, it'll just have to settle for spran n' pray.
Thank you! I like the idea that the robot has to rely on them, but they bicker and misreport things to it :D
Honestly, I probably won't do the floaty heads again, but the bucktooth look is one I'll put in regular circulation.
March of Robots 2026, no 8; Robot head 2.
Three little robot heads, complete with spines and eyes in their mouths, constantly orbiting the big, sightless head, which just has perfectly normal teeth in it's jawless mouth.
:D Very neat :D
:D This made me laugh :D
:D Thank you!
:D thank you :D It totally can't see when it's firing though :D
Thank you! Much appreciated! But please don't notice that I didn't think about visibilty :D
March of Robots no 7; Solid.
Running a little late; I could only think of a goofy little Bean Tank with some shields.
How many joints can be removed before it becomes an aircraft though? Could be an interesting project.
Thank you, much appreciated :D
I wonder that too (I genuinely have no answer).
:D
