Lovely that Handsome Rob heard is song ring out around Kenilworth Road again yesterday. The club have done the right thing by him. Genuinely don’t understand the “there’s no room for sentiment in football” people. It’s mainly about sentiment.

I forgot it was Waddock’s 2nd in 2 games but knew I came away thinking we had a new goal threat 😂

I was up there for uni at the time, it was great for adding tons of away games but we always seemed jinxed in the Deepdale matches. Must happier in the return fixture, 5-1 with an Oldfield hat trick and a rare Gary Waddock goal
