I don’t remember it like that. I remember him being very quick and trying very hard but not getting used to the reality of the league he was in and lacking the quality at the top end. Thus the comparison

I understand. Like I said in the piece I’d remind you Jonny Walters couldn’t get to grips with league two (could be one) and went on to be a good prem player, I’ve seen signs although I agree he’s been underwhelming.

He’s a holding mid ultimately. It’s where he’s supposed to play. There’s a reason city will have bids from top European teams for him.

Mehlem played much higher up the pitch is the answer. Puerta scored no?
