There must be something between inciting violence and peacefully accepting lawlessness. In fact I would argue that is what's happening here. Only one side has weapons so for that reason they can't actually use them.

That being said, I am wary of this "accelerationist" mindset. It's the same argument that white supremacists use to justify being violent, they hope it's just gonna bring on the race war they want faster.

I wonder if this feeling of inevitability is actually mostly impatience.

I see the growth of flag football as much needed for the growth of the "global game." Every other global sport has a simple enough version that anyone can play recreationally. I see flag as more of a pickleball situation than anything.
