(Every year in December, we move this ficus to the home office to make space for the Christmas tree. The ficus hates it there and only stops losing leaves around February.
This year I couldn't bear to banish poor Mr Ficus Who Just Doesn't Like Change from the living room.)

It is Sinterklaas time here in the Netherlands, which means we eat a type of small cookie called a pepernoot or kruidnoot! I am VERY fond of this tradition!!!
