I'm not sure where you came to the conclusion that I'm not, or that you had the right to tell me what to do.

By people who admit they're intentionally lying to get what they want and don't care what the target wants, yes. I thought TTRPG gamers were more creative than to need to explicitly lie to get what they want. Why would an adult want to free up their time and travel to perhaps get a bait and switch?

And your group is not all people. Understandable that established group has their own internal vocabulary.

Just because people want to genericize TTRPG's to the lowest common denominator doesn't mean that one wants to be self-admitted lied to by the OP.

Just because he's put the weasel word "type" in there doesn't mean he hasn't intentionally deceived about the next few hours of activity commitment.

Not really, it isn't. D&D is several hours of a trash system. This attitude is why it's a challenge to convert someone to better systems.

But you aren't the one being lied to. That's the people you admit to disrespecting.

That's not really a great start for a human social interaction.

Most adults consider their time to be too valuable to want to be disrespected by someone who publicly admits they have no problem lying to their faces.

Wouldn't the crowd be so huge their farts could keep each other warm? They could fight a forest fire with the atmospheric pressure they could generate!

Clearly the past headlines were real. Media literacy is important.

That's unfortunate to hear that there are tankies in the East. Especially since Russia hasn't even been socialist in a generation or more.

Advice to any CEO: Don't promote corporate policies to line your own pockets that kill the loved ones of other Americans if you expect them to feel sympathy for your own death even if they are appalled by its occurrence.
