As the corporate world grows more hostile towards humans; I suspect many of us will opt to opt-out, choosing instead to live in intentional communities where we’ll live off the land in homes of compressed earth.

‘Muscle Brain’ literally obscures sight.
Not protective.
Just limiting.
Not shielding vulnerability.
Just preventing clarity.

‘Muscle’… not as armor.
But as stubborn blindfold.

What happens when illusions of brute force do nothing but override vision…

Resist ‘dangerous and socially unacceptable’ age checks for social media, scientists warn Computer scientists are campaigning against the global march toward age checks online.

With these efforts, the question is always, “what are they collecting?” and “what are they doing with it?”

As the world goes to shit; I plan to sequester myself in a far-off farm. I will teach my kids to craft, to hunt, to fish. Avoid the stresses and divisive draw of technology, instead rising and falling with the sun each day. To me, this is paradise.

If you can’t look back at what a fool you were, you probably still are.

Soldiers, armed with classified operational knowledge, bet on the timing and outcome of the conflict. What a terrible time to be a human.

Exactly! Writing anything worth reading is a hard fought, emotional effort. Outsourcing that work to a machine does nothing for the author or reader.

Funny enough, these machines are an avenue for surveillance and behavioral prediction… so yes, you are on a list.

robotic fire hydrants with legs run around a filthy city street attempting to stop a fire of a small business establishment from spreading

Grimjack #75 (1990) art by Flint Henry. Written by John Ostrander

Feels like the end of an era

Munden’s Bar had its metaphorical ending when the backup stores stopped with Issue 69. But here we saw its literal destruction in the 56-page squarebound Special 75th Issue of Grimjack.
