Quantum Computing Coloring Book To answer the most intricate questions about nature, we need a computer to simulate nature down to the very atoms themselves. Quantum computers offer a way to use the very building blocks of the world...

A black and white drawing of my spouse, questioning how we ordered all this food, saying "I kind of give-a-mouse-a-cookie'd my lunch"

A freebie to one place leads to a bogo at another, which then reminds us that we have a coupon to another place -- and next thing you know, we have a whole feast! ๐Ÿ‘‘

A black and white drawing of my spouse, celebrating our huge garden, saying "I'm a f*cking farmers market!"

We're actually really proud of our garden -- we grew sweet corn for the first time, and it was delicious!

A black and white drawing of my spouse, carrying a duck in a canvas bag, saying "one second you're young and carefree... And then next you're taking your pet duck to the emergency vet because she's family"

Last winter, one of our ducks was attacked in the evening by an opossum and Jody rushed her to an emergency vet (tucked under their arm in a canvas bag). She spent the next three weeks in our bathtub as we cleaned her wounds and gave her antibiotics, and made a full recovery ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฆ†

A black and white drawing of my spouse, holding an SPF sun shirt from a store rack, saying "it makes getting a sunburn illegal -- I can literally sue the sun!"

The sun should still be afraid of lawsuits, because Jody gets sun burnt very easily โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ

JUST NOW โ€” Our reporters are at the Broadview ICE facility (outside of Chicago) where protestors have been demonstrating since 5:00 a.m.

As a cargo van left the facility, a federal agent on the roof started shooting what seems to be pepper balls at protestors just before 9:00 a.m.

The "Anitta-Kin" city park sign, surrounded by grass and trees and light shining down.
Text: names are so amazing because everyone's name is *theirs* In the foreground, the guardian of one of the kids is messaging a co-worker on her phone, while the children play in the background.
Text: and while that name has been used thousands of times by so many people Scene of the children, the boy handing a toy bus to the girl and saying "My name is Alex, wanna play?"
Text: right then and there it is their name
and their name alone. Screenshot of the original quote that inspired this comic
bro not to start again on names but u ever think abt how some names have been used for centuries, millenniums even... like how many times has the earth heard a mother calling, 'alexander!'... how many times have the starts caught a lover whispering, 'freyja'... how many times has the ground we've walked on and cntinue to walk on felt vibrations of a friend excitingly yelling, 'mary!'
names are so amazing because everyone's name is *theirs* but that name has been used thousands of times by so many people but right then and there is is *their* name and theirs alone

A scene of multiple colosseums and ancient Greece-like landscape, with a mother calling out to her son in the distance
Text: like, how many times has the earth heard a mother calling... Scene of Indo-Islamic and Mughal architecture and a garden, with two lovers nestled in a pergola, and one of them is whispering the other's name.
Text: how many times have the stars caught a lover whispering... Priya Scene in a 19th century train station, where two friends are running towards each other, one shouting out the others name.
Text: or, how many times has the ground we've walked on - and continue to walk on - felt the vibrations of a friend excitedly yelling... May!

Drawing of dapled light on grass, and who white butterflies.
Text:
Nameling (noun) (rare, archaic) Any group of people sharing the same name. A comic. Illustrated by Aedan Gardill. Text by @h-isforhome (tumblr) Scene of a playground, two parents are watching their children play. A park sign reading "Anitta-Kin city park".
Text: not to start again on names - The two children interact, the boy on the ground playing with toy busses. The girl says "Hi! My name is Maryam - What's yours?"
Text: do you ever think about how some names have been used for centuries -
millennia even

Nameling: a comic

I finished this about a year ago, based off a tumblr quote that stuck with me about names, and how special they are, and how so many people have shared our names, but your name is still uniquely yours
