I really don’t think that’s the reason. I’ve come around to agreeing with those who think he’s using the kid as a shield. He wears a Kevlar vest and the kid is always on his shoulders. A dad may carry a 4 year old that way on occasion, but ALWAYS when the kid’s old enough to walk? I don’t think so.
