Brush their teeth!! Ryercat has great resources & specially designed toothbrushes that fit in their small mouths. This is not a paid endorsement 😆 I just really love their toothbrushes! Our vet told us we’d need to extract some of our cats teeth but we started brushing and it made a huge difference.

I love poetry, I love reading it, I love writing it - poetry can express things in a way that long form writing could never. Poetry has given me the space to write about things I don’t even know how to put in words yet, or to condense an experience into just a few words. This is one of my faves:

As the ultimate 💗 letter, my spouse is creating me a tarot deck using characters he created based on us. 🥹 I love them all but this one made me laugh the hardest-the knife taped to a mop handle is an inside joke that I 💯 wasn’t expecting him to incorporate. 😂

Finally received my data download link from FB so I can delete my account for good, 30 gb of data is what they had stored on me. 😳 I’m curious how much of that is photos and how much is creepily accurate data on every message and comment I’ve ever made on the platform?! This creeps me out y’all.

Ah yes, I knew about all that - also think it’s hilarious re: red note 😂 I guess I was just confused about your wording about being pushed off TikTok but I forgot about the impending ban for USA users. I’m in Canada so it doesn’t directly affect me. Still left all meta apps in solidarity tho.

It’s absolutely a cesspool. I have been sexually harassed more times on FB marketplace through my DM’s than literally anywhere else on the internet. A friend of a friend got sexually harassed by a man SHE was trying to BUY a bike from. Reporting them also does absolutely nothing. 🙄

That’s really interesting because I felt that way about alcohol before I ever started meds or got diagnosed, even. I don’t drink anymore so I haven’t experienced this myself since starting my meds. With this new info I’m even less inclined to drink. 😂

Still digging and just found the folder with all my chat logs?!? I thought I was just downloading photos, posts, and stories—not a zipped package of EVERY interaction I’ve had on IG. The way I am RUSHING to delete my account right now… 😳

I thought I was tech-savvy, but downloading my IG data to delete my account has me shook. 😳 Just skimming it, I found logs of every comment I’ve made since 2018. I knew META hoarded info, but seeing it all laid out like this hits different. It feels weirdly invasive in a way I wasn’t expecting.

Ok, I’m not a medical professional but as someone with adhd… this sounds a lot like adhd. 😆

Unfortunately this doesn’t work for everyone, I tried this for years and nothing actually helped until I was prescribed adhd medication which has been life changing for me, I wish I had “given in” sooner instead of banging my head against the wall for years trying to force my brain to cooperate.

I can’t tell if this is satire or not… if you’re being serious I’d like you to have a chat with the doc that diagnosed me at 36 lmao because this is 100% false.

What’s funny is that literally this morning I told my hubby I wanted pizza from a local place down the street - I’ve been craving it for a while. Ask and the universe shall deliver. 😆

What a nice parting gift from FB! Today I had a random thought to check an OLD email address, and found an e-transfer from the recent class action lawsuit in 🇨🇦. $36.29 in exchange for using my photo and name in advertising without my consent. Looks like I’m getting 🍕 this weekend 😋 (also, f u FB!)

I’m audhd too 💗 my grades were fine up until like grade 6 and then it was the struggle bus until I graduated, failed math many times, had to endure summer school, still struggled… got diagnosed w/ anxiety & depression instead 🙄 I’m so glad so many women like us are realising this & getting help.

I’m in the process of this myself - migrating everyone I want to keep in touch with to Bluesky or text. Just waiting for my data download from fb/IG to arrive as I have photos on both I don’t want to lose. Can’t wait to delete all my meta accounts 🙌 keeping TT for now though.

I was honestly more pissed off than relieved when I got my diagnosis- I just think back to little me grinding her teeth at the kitchen table getting so frustrated with her schoolwork. All that needless suffering & thinking I was stupid when all I needed was a little support. UGGGGHHH!! 😤

I absolutely agree with all the points you made! I have a tendency to get overexcited about stuff and not stop to think first tho thanks to my adhd brain so I’m glad to be able to tuck this info away for the rare chance this ever happens to me. 😂

The 1st time I took my meds I told my hubby MY EYES FEEL LIKE LASERS because I felt so ✨focused✨ for the 1st time in my life. Now the effects have settled some, but damn-the difference it’s made in my life has been incredible. Just dealing with the grief of going undiagnosed so long has been hard.

I feel like if I were asked this question I’d just be like “COOL!! Yeah!! I want them!!” Without stopping to considering the implications 😅 this is a much smarter approach.
