Agreed. I got into Star Wars with Return of the Jedi and got into Sonic with the 2nd game. Didn't stop me from enjoying both series. In the latter case it helped, if anything.

They left other stuff in the locker room that got stolen when Latha's locker was broken into. I didn't think too hard about where they keep stuff since the scenario's vaguely inspired by old 3D horror games, so they just have some kind of invisible inventory for holding random items otherwise.
