yes, entirely unlike a business plan, science actually has to have a plan. and a strong team. and years of work behind it. it can't just be a pitch with some guy in a hoodie and dudes throwing money at him cos they like the cut of his jib, then keep tossing money at him cos he's their "investment".

TBF heat radiates in space, it just can't convect via atoms. But heat management is a BIG deal in space: steady operating temps, uneven heating (from sun), shielding, radiation protection... Plus cost of launch, repair, slow data rates...
