sure, but we use lots of fg terms away from their literal meaning (mash, respect, etc) and the useful old meaning is just looooost 😭
one thing about fighting game terminology is that the battle has been lost on people using abare to mean something other than "mash". the abare/moral distinction is not found within those words anymore. pressing when you block an attack that's -2 is "abare" now.
need new terms for the old meanings
