There is no doubt that the Iranian Regime was & is evil. Celebration by Iranians at home and in the diaspora has deep validity that is not mine to grant or judge. But, Trump’s actions and goals are not aligned with liberation. Those who align with him see people as disposable objects - a deep evil.
The idea that this war is a distraction is insane. It’s been part of the plan all along. Trump is a rapist pedophile. 2 evils embodied in one person. Neither is a distraction. They are the sum of his being. This country had an opportunity to spurn its evil origins. It chose the abusers. Grotesque.

Older folks are constantly complaining to me about how young people don't use maps.
Of course, I tell them. What would a kid need a map for? We don't let them go anywhere.
If you love maps, exploring and childhoods that are full of adventure, independence and curiosity, we must protect mobility.
