So sad today is the last full day of my trip. Being legally required to be home within a month because of my current signed off sick status when just a few more days would have been the best possible outcome feels very cruel. Going to have to hope my good intentions linger in the air to be felt.

Lucky I have the flexibility to change my plans, I know there are instances where things cannot easily be changed. Some things can be, they just take time.

Scot rail or whatever it’s called is a mess! Massive delays. No contingency plans. I’ve ended up ditching to get on an LNER before I lose my sanity.

As far as views to step out of the front door to this one is pretty special!

Rambling around a stunning Loch Ness, getting a discount on food because of the jumper I was wearing, seeing a pine marten & deer, exploring a wildly ramshackle but amazing bookshop and making pizza outside in a wood burning stove as the sun set. The Highlands has treated me wonderfully today!

We head into the final few stops on our musical mystery tour, it's day 11 just 4 more days to enjoy (or endure 🤣)
