Also if you have to ask for it, you probably don't have what it takes to be one.

Omg I am not even touching the matai kōrero but that is everything we need to know about Luxon. What an absolute dork.

Sorry team, I am slowly following back some followers. They have grown more than I can keep up with and I am not being a snob. Just a māmā of 2 toddlers working my butt off.

'Severe' impact on Gregg's workers if factory closes Workers at Dunedin’s Gregg’s coffee factory face being cast aside after giving decades of their lives to the business.

This is pretty heartbreaking- a huge loss to Ōtepoti and Aotearoa. We must keep iconic heritage businesses in New Zealand hands to continue to enjoy our products & foods, and for workers to keep jobs.

Understand that. My point I was trying to say more is cis white men shouldn't be leading these discussions. Like would love to see more disabled, Trans, Indigenous whānau leading.

Get this shit out of New Zealand and revoke Peter Theil's illegal fraudulent citizenship.
Whilst your doing that, put the John Key on trial for bring this to our shores and Judith Collins for using tax payers money to spy on us.

Just some thoughts after I have spent most of the day setting up my daughters princess party in my mother in laws garage that is converted to a playroom, after a day before that started at 5am and finished at 10.45pm (and was non stop). Is my body sore? Absolutely. Will my mind shut up? No. 😂

Do I think well structured databases can function just as well as some AI and we should be doing that better? ABSOLUTELY. Do I think we need to think about Data Ethics, Data Sovereignty and Indigenous Data Sovereignty. ABSOLUTELY. It is overdue!! Data is the foundation and platform for a better AI.

Like are we anti Chat GPT?! Absofuckinglutely. Are we for Thaura AI - that is built by Syrian technologists that hate big tech and have built a non biased responder? I utilise such a tool and I feel like that helps me with the bullshit pākehā process forced on us to "snow us under".

Again. White CIS men, telling us we'll be "dumber" for using AI is irony. Because I'm not sure a lot of them are talking to our trans whānau, our disabled whānau, our indigenous whānau. Everything is contextual, nothing is black and white.

Like have utilised a less problematic AI tool, that doesn't use big tech infrastructure and I will also edit what goes out, but starting from 80% saves us about 80% of our time for pākehā process that allows us to do our te ao māori conceptual thinking.

i.e. Executives and companies that don't have ethical policies or focus on environment.
Also Indigenous whānau, especially wāhine are usually so busy, if this can help us with the pākehā process shit (mundane).

Is it ableist to suggest that AI will make us dumber? What about our whānau with brain issues and cognitive issues that find that it helps? I continuously think that refer to AI as this big beast is just ending up shaming people and not at the right level we need

Your unsolicited advice is as annoying as their bullshit. For indigenous communities it is how we reach out to our elders.

The right openly positioning itself in orientation with the semblance of knowledge and the semblance of skill like this - and in opposition to actual knowledge and actual skill - tells you everything you need to know about the modern right.
