Enjoyed a nice early morning bimble with the walking coach - he is the dark blob on the footpath to the right of the tree - patiently waiting for me to finish taking this image. Although it's still early August the berries and fruit on the trees seems to be ripening early and there was hint of autumn in the air.

A single blue Borage flower. The flower has five blue petals with white structural appendages around the deep blue anthers.

A single blue lobelia flower, there are three large nblue petals on the lower half of the flower and two smaller ones at the top. White and yellow atterning is visibke at the point where two of the petals join the trumpet of the flower which can be seen behind the petals.

A bumblebee rests on a yellow multi-petalled begonia. The bee is black and yellow and tiny yellow pollen grains can be seen all over it. This is probably a male bumble bee as they do tend to rest overnight on or in flowers. The begonia flower has 2 shades of yellow one to the left of the bee where the light was quite bright and a darker shade to the right of the bee out of direct light. Pollen grains on some of the begonia petals.
