Todays slab of M.K. is from the recent art pack / music disk, Textual Healing Vol. 2. I went for a post-dubstep / ambient garage style this time as it seemed to fit looking at loads of excellent text mode artwork.

Continuing with #MODtober I'l be posting bits from my back catalogue. Today is Berlin Warehouse, a techno track I made for the Tactical Transmissions music disk from last year. Rigid techno rythms paired with Drum n Bass wobble make it all a little unsettling.

It's far from riff in the Amiga demoscene. One release inparticular this year went a overboard on AI graphics and theres a couple of pics here and there, but we ain't gonna see an AI ProTracker tune for a long while I reckon.

Perfect starter would be pick a language then make a graphics converter. Making something which can pull in a png and spit out planar graphics and an amiga palette will be forever useful.

08.09.2025 10:16 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0The one button issue is between the chair and the keyboard as the Amiga can do 6 buttons with a CD32 pad. As for the NeoGeo, with 380 sprites sized 16x512 pixels... yeah it could do it.

We also have a vscode 68k debugger plugin. Mostly used it for neo geo but should work with some other systems. Was very handy for putting this thing together. youtu.be/IVkLMcrBwG8?...

It's called Textual Healing and it compiles ASCII/ANSI/PETSCII/TELETEXT into an Amiga .. thing .. which also doubles as a music disk. Here is the dev stream from this week.>
