The gRPC support for typescript is not in a good place. The setup process is just a lot and it requires a lot of dependencies.
I tried gRPC for rust and yeah it required more than 2 crates but it wasn’t so hard to setup.

I can’t believe I’m suffering from information overload. This past weekend was a lot, I had to learn at a very crazy pace.
People don’t talk about this part of software engineering where you have to learn on demand and with little time 😪

So, a while ago, I built a clipboard history manager with Rust, using Tauri & React.
The motivation for this was that MacBooks don’t come with a clipboard out of the box. It initially started as a CLI, and then I said Why not an actual desktop app 🤷
