Maybe I'll try printing over it, too. My arm hurts, though.

Out of curiosity I tried making rubbings of some relief blocks.

Reduction linocut, 3 colours. Orange, red, dark burgundy. An orange cat reclines under a red xmas tree, curled around a gift. Maybe, visions of sugarmice dance in his head.

Today I made wheat paste to glue prints to cards. Fun

Thanks! Digital planning helped me figure out how the layers would work, would have been a bit lost without it

This digital plan is close to what I had envisioned. I might have time for one more studio session before the semester ends. Maybe I can pull this off in one day, knee willing.

I think this is actually pretty good, but I thought it sucked at the time

A copper etching depicting a seal's head surfacing from below ice. An ice mummy is partially visible at the top of the frame.

I cursed this seal to be trapped in a sheet of copper forever and all he had to say about it was "Oughhhh"

Speedball block printing ink is terrible, but i just discovered that adding a drop of glycerine makes it almost possible to use
