27) Almost Cops

Tries to be too many things and ends up being neither. There's too many jokes about police violence to be a serious drama, but it also doesn't lean enough into the weirdness of the dutch auxiliary cop premise to work as a comedy.
Hot Fuzz this is not.

17) Otr of the Flame

Honestly, I still prefer Red Hood over this one. The art is still amazing with some incredible buff muscly women, but the plot is just the most generic modern battle shonen imaginable.

I hope the author will be able to get a proper win one day, they clearly have talent

A lot of good concepts that just barely miss out on being greatly executed. The highlights by far are the feral lead Hotaru and the absolute piece-of-shit villain Midori.

Did get me interested in trying out airsoft one day though

Really just a shadow of its former self

The only mildly interesting episodes were the James Gunn and Multiverse Jerry episodes and the Cooler Rick parts of the finale

In retrospect Morty mattered surprisingly little, wasn't even part of half the episodes' plots

13) Yooka Laylee and the Impossibly Lair

This is a good 2D platformer with many cool and unique ideas, especially remixing levels by changing the overworld.

That said, it also just isn't for me. Levels are too long and the game can be very finnicky with how much precision is required

12) A Certain Magical Index 3 (Rewatch)

Since then I read a good chunk of the LNs and this adaptation only got worse because of it. So much is crammed, so much is skipped, so much is rushed that even the animation can't keep up. I gaslit myself into thinking there were redeeming points

An adorable mystery game with an engaging heroine about the relationship between an author and their characters... and the pressure from editors to change the tone.

You can have a happy kids story... or go full Gravity Falls. It's your choice.

10) The Fast and The Furious

I knew that sooner or later I would end up dipping in this franchise.

That said, I'm surprised by how tame and grounded things actually started out, to the point I actually found myself wanting bigger stunts (maybe in place of Diesel's bad clothed "sex" scene)
