Major Changes Coming to Northern Arizona Elite The Flagstaff-based pro training group, sponsored by Hoka, is parting ways with eight athletes—and its founder.

Aliphine Tuliamuk, Kellyn Taylor, and Stephanie Bruce helped put Hoka NAZ Elite on the map, and as of January 1, they, and five others, will no longer be part of the team. According to Taylor, "everybody that's old" is being cut (and "old" is >28). More details from @slorgebutler.bsky.social:

Things I’ve learned that actually have some validity…
You matter and only your timeline matters. You can be done whenever you choose but certainly not because someone said it was time.

Things I’ve learned over the last several months…your dreams have a timeline. Someone else should dictate when you’re done. If you’re not winning you’re wasting time. It’s not an even playing field but pretend it is. Be silent when things are wrong.

I know my worth and that’s why I’m not willing to put up with the bs
