"Moderate Democrats" Aren't Moderate Anymore
According to recent polls, "moderate" Democratic voters support Medicare for All, taxing the rich, & taking on the broligarchy. Will the Democratic leadership wake up or keep listening to corporate donors?

A dark money group, hidden behind a bunch of shell companies, is paying influencers thousands of dollars PER POST to attack @katmabu.bsky.social on social media a month before her election.
Thank you to the people who declined the money and went forward with this. So who's behind this?
Trump ended the IRS Direct File program that allowed millions of taxpayers to file taxes for free.
That happened after Intuit, the maker of TurboTax, lobbied the government to block the IRS from launching its own program.
Intuit also donated $1 million to Trump’s inauguration.

This is how our government has been corrupted:
1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians
2) Elected officials rewrite rules in donors' favor
3) Donors make huge profit
4) Repeat
We must get big money out of politics. It’s the root of all evil in Washington.
Republicans are working overtime to make it as hard as possible for you to vote. Because they know that they and their policies are deeply unpopular and the only way for them to win is to double down on cheating.

Whenever I say we should return to 1940-1980 tax levels for the super wealthy (billionaires) of 91%+ marginal tax I hear, "If you do that, billionaires will leave the USA."

AIPAC should be a litmus test for Democrats ahead of the 2026 elections. It's primary season. There's time to pressure them right now. There's no reason why any Democrat is still willing to take money from the pro-Israel group funded by GOP billionaires and extremists.

Christian Nationalists are treating the Epstein files like they treat their Bibles and our Constitution: They are *ignoring* them.
Someone has sure already made this observation but the fact they can convert all those empty warehouses into prison camps means they could have converted them into housing, community centers, job training centers or, hell, libraries or schools all along. It’s always a matter of will not resources.

I read this passage and was immediately reminded of the Senator's post.
The increasing number of billionaires in every new release of the Epstein files are another reminder that billionaires shouldn't exist because they're immoral, exploitative hoarders and the world would be better if we abolished every one of them.
