Dr. Helene Gayle will not be returning as president of Atlanta's Spelman College after taking a leave of absence.
ATLANTA, GA — Dr. Helene Gayle, Spelman College’s president — is stepping down permanently after her leave of absence, the historically Black women’s college has announced.
