I wonder if telling boys how much better they have it, and how they should be thankful that they are not burdened with womanhood, and that any sane person would immediately reject it, might actually make them inclined to reify and reinforce patriarchal norms?

and like god thats so much better than the alternative of whatever proto-MRA formalized misogyny pickup artistry that would've filled my brain otherwise, but like... what if I'd been told to try being a girl instead, then?
