The studio wasn’t lying with the tagline when they said WAR OF THE WORLDS is worse than you think. Truly abysmal in every way, it’s funny for a bit until you realize that this is actually 90 minutes of your life of Ice Cube struggling to act in front of a computer. Also weirdly republican #Filmsky

WEAPONS is as creepy as it looks, and while I both liked it & think it’s good, I have my issues with it. Really, the thing that hurts the film for me is the way it’s structured and the climax of the film. No spoilers, but the tonal shift wasn’t helpful to the feeling leaving the theater #FilmSky

BATMAN VS TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES is an animated movie that every nerd has dreamed of. It’s so fun, the animation looks great, and it feels like the right version of a crossover story before everybody tried to do it. The character interactions are perfect, and it’s so entertaining. #FilmSky

TOMMY BOY is one of my favorites comedies & has so much sentimental value for me. I rewatched it constantly as a kid, with Chris Farley’s performance being one of those that I really connected to. Farley was one of a kind, a truly funny dude & this film is the best at showing his range #FilmSky

FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS is definitely the best FF movie, but it’s not what I wanted it to be. It’s in that grey area for me between “good movie” & “not what I want from those characters as a comic fan.” I have a laundry list of issues with this film but ultimately I think I did like it. #FilmSky

THE DAY THE EARTH BLEW UP: A LOONEY TUNES MOVIE is a true return to form for these characters. This film is so fun & actually funny, with a good script & performances. It actually feels like the Looney Tunes I grew up with and have missed. So glad it got saved and released, I need more #FilmSky

ATLANTIS: MILO’S RETURN is very obviously 3 episodes of a potential animated series glued together to make a film, & while fun it’s just not as good as the original. I would have loved to have gotten a full series though, & even still would love a revisit to the world. Fun watch regardless #FilmSky

ATLANTIS: THE LOST EMPIRE is one of the most underrated & underappreciated Disney films of all time. So creative, so unique, & so much fun. It’s crazy to think that of all the films they’ve done live action adaptations of, ATLANTIS has gone so overlooked. I’d love to see more in this world #FilmSky

BORDERLINE wants to be quirky so bad that it reeks of desperation at every element. This is the exact kind of movie that irritates me to no end. The soundtrack is just needle drops without reason, and everyone is doing their best Joker audition. Horrificly stupid & a total waste of time #FilmSky

SCOOBY-DOO MEETS BATMAN is a VHS tape that I wore out as a kid. Always blew my mind that this crossover was a thing, & the Batman & Scooby relationship has been one of my favorites ever since. Not gonna lie, it’s a harder watch several decades later and as an adult, but the spirit lives on #FilmSky

That’s True! Def feels like screaming into the void sometimes, but I’d make the videos I make regardless of engagement because I get creative fulfillment from it. I’m happy enough with the small wins when I can get them, being a smaller channel means really any view/like/comment/sub means a lot

Genuinely, the toughest part of being a “content creator”(I hate that term) & a small YouTube channel is the lack of return on investment for the effort you put in. It’s so tough getting people to give you a shot, & rightfully so because there’s so much out there, but it can be very discouraging

THE NAKED GUN is everything you would want it to be. They homage & pay respect to the original while doing their own thing. Liam Neeson is so funny & has such great comedic timing, a true successor to Leslie Nielsen. Wouldn’t mind seeing him do more comedy instead of action at this point. #FilmSky

We need more wholesome movies!

NONNAS is a really sweet & charming movie that brings Vince Vaughn back to the lead with a return to form for the actor. It’s very sentimental but it’s a heartwarming & entertaining story, nothing special but a good time while watching. The cast is what makes it good, loved seeing everyone #FilmSky

THE GREAT MOUSE DETECTIVE is a Disney movie I’d never heard anyone talk about, and after finishing it I can’t understand why. This movie is so fun, creative, and unique. I loved the humor, I loved the adventure, it’s got one of the best Disney villains, and 2 actual jumpscares. I loved it #FilmSky
