Some more interesting (to me) facts about Steven Knight. He has pretty eclectic musical tastes, including Nick Cave. Also an album of Bulgarian folk music released in UK by 4AD in the mid 80s after Peter Murphy recommended it to the label head. Yes, my brain stores some pretty obscure stuff.
A couple of years later I was in Russia. Because of that experience, and because St Petersburg has a world renowned ballet company, we went and saw - I think - Swan lake.
It was amazing. But absolute torture!
When I lived in the UK I once ended up with tickets for the opera. Something like paying £10 for £120 tickets, which was too good an opportunity to miss, despite being sceptical.
I really enjoyed it!

One per month is reasonable if you want to get back into the habit of reading.
I agree with a lot of this. I just wanted to point out that I don't necessarily disagree with Phil as much as it may appear at first and not sure if i expressed that in thr podcast.
Me too! 10 books a month is insane for most people. If you have that much time, then great! But why make it a goal. Just read.
If you have a reading a reading goal of, say, 5 books a year, I think you need to up your goals. Best option: dont have reading goals at all. It's insane.
Something I dont get. I see people have reading goals of 10 books a month. I ha e a couple of questions:
A) you do realise reading isn’t a competitive sport?
B) where you you find the time?

Thank you. Our aim is to provide serious commentary on all things Bond, not just add noise.
Phil Nobile Jr. is down about Amazon taking control of the Bond movies, but then Broccoli and Wilson weren't going to make more movies themselves.
I look forward to seeing whether a Bond movie not made by them feels like a Bond movie to me. NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN did.
