Always attempting to make himself appear to be worthy of more than he's earned. Calling in to radio talk shows in the 80s, posing as "Trump's publicist" using aliases to brag about how many women wanted to date him. A genuine nutcase, glorified by right wing media and elected by gullible dolts. 2/2

Interesting psychology, tho. Leaving off the "New York" is his attempt to project a genuine military academy rather than a boarding school for undisciplined youth. Similar to claiming a degree from "Wharton" whose U of Pennsylvania MBA is prestigious, but whose undergrad is not particularly. 1/2

MAGA in a nutshell... If it was good, it's all due to Trump; if it's bad Obama or Biden are to blame.

That some people buy into the schtick is truly a phenomenon.

Suspiciously, he wrote "Military Academy" rather than "New York Military Academy" trying to imply West Point/professional military school, rather than a school for problem adolescents/reform school.

Is it possible that fewer sane people are identifying as Republicans, thereby increasing the relative percentage identifying as MAGA?

The multi-national oil companies operating in the US make a lot of money. The average American gets screwed. Which pretty much sums up Trump and the Republican Party’s approach to the economy.

The level of idiocy is truly epic.

There have always been one or two senators who were dull, but the 2026 GOP takes the cake!

Let me put it differently... Many 85 year olds, even 90 year olds are sharper than their younger peers. And they have more wisdom. It's not true in all cases, but the voters can decide.

Using age as a a sole discriminator is frankly stupid.

I've had incidents when I was looking for my glasses and had them on for the last thirty years.

Age isn't an automatic disqualifier. Bernie, Pelosi, Warren... I'd rather have Clyburn than Fetterman, or even Manchin.

A well written piece, and yet it only begins to scratch the surface of all the lies and corruption. We're living in insane times.

I don't understand. Did Epstein commit crimes in Britain?

If she'd have condemned Israel she'd have opened herself up to "giving in to terrorists" or "why didn't YOU do something about it by now?" Agree that it was a no-win issue for her. Damned either way.

I can't figure out why you concluded Harris was 'pro genocide.' She was not in any way. You seem to believe that had she denounced Netanyahu that she would have gained votes without accounting for those she'd have lost by 'giving in to terrorists.' It's a bogus argument. Happy with the outcome?

What causes you to believe this? Probably most people in the DoJ didn't even know, once Alex Acosta approved the sweetheart deal.

Right, though you cast the issue backwards. Electing Trump was the mistake. Both times.

It was the media that screwed up, and they'd have done the same to any other candidate.

Man, if this isn't the truth. Such insane times. Their audience includes people whose education and experience should be able to see through the BS, yet they can't.

In my own circle, the Fox News watchers never see or hear anything that could cause them to question the narrative. If something sneaks through, it's immediately dubbed a Democrat hoax. And they buy it. And if you let them know, you are deemed to have 'TDS.'

I'm actually surprised that there are still some who fail to realize that Putin owns Trump. He's had some incredible leverage over him from the very beginning. It's "kompromat" of one kind or another - perversion, financial, legal??? It's something and it's powerful. Trump's never opposed him. Ever.

Well if that doesn't completely capture Trumpism, I can't think of any better summary.

Far more likely that Epstein's web of depravity was orchestrated on behalf of the KGB/FSB to compromise prominent individuals so they could be blackmailed. Putin isn't afraid of being mentioned; he's afraid of losing his leverage.

Fox News. Those I know who voted for him are Fox News addicts. They know nothing about any of Trump's actions in a negative context. He's their hero, no matter what. Fox will manufacture a narrative and they'll not only buy into it, but regurgitate it verbatim, on demand. Disagree and you have TDS.
