My favourite part of making emotes will always be seeing people enjoy and use the ones that I make, even though I don't have much confidence in my work. So things are feeling good! I'll post my work soon hopefully, I only finished up today 🐼💕

It's been a busy time for me lately and I'm sorry for all the delays in my commission work. Once I get my ID in the post I'll work out a schedule for my current requests, my application is in so it shouldn't be too long. I appreciate everyone's patience!

My commissions PayPal is frozen at the moment and I can't access any money in it, so I've set up an alternative through my Ko-fi. So I'll be using that to recieve payments for the moment, if I can actually fix my PayPal

Woke up today to my sister being engaged, what a crazy time! The year is going good so far!

My new years resolution this year is to not break any more of my favourite mugs, since I broke 2 last year.. And maybe finally get an ID, yippie. Last year sucked big, so hopefully this year sucks less

You're 100% right, both sides are important. I guess it's just about finding the balance and knowing which one to prioritise at the time. I have been spending more time with my sister though so that evened it out a bit

I've spent a lot of time this year trying to work on myself and having time away from online socialising. It's very easy to get sucked into stuff that doesn't matter while online and it used to ruin my self worth. But now if no one really talks to me or if I flop as an emote artist it'd be okay

KCD2 not winning anything is actually criminal, I'm obviously not surprised in the slightest bc E33 deserved those awards. But it made me sad how KCD2 was barely mentioned the whole show, it deserved some of the spotlight

I'm actually looking forward to my birthday next Thursday! Not only am I hitting 30, my big sister is taking me on an adventure to Birmingham to do some shopping, much excite! I had some annoying expenses this month but hopefully I have enough moneyz to still have a good time

You can compliment people that do frame by frame animation without bringing down people that use Live 2D or other programs to animate. They all take effort to learn and achieve decent results. So please be kind to emote artists that offer animated emotes

I think some people forget that animating is a completely different skill set to drawing, it takes a lot of time to learn plus there's so many different ways to do it. You have to prep an emote differently if it's going to be animated which takes more work and planning.

I got the chance to refresh some of the old emotes I made for @kiaratv.bsky.social, and I have a few more to do. I don't have access to the date/year I made the old ones but its still fun to compare, I hope people like the new ones ✨

I've been tempted lately to apply for volunteering at my local farm since they have mental health support n things, it might be good for my anxiety. It's 2 days a week and it'll give me something to get outside for, I need to work on my insomnia tho. Apparently they have alpacas 🥺
