Why are chapter openings so hard for me 😑 like i almost always know exactly how i want them to start but just getting the right words on the page is difficult

The themes of this story are grief, sisterhood, and revenge, and it also has a lesbian romantic subplot.

called the Seafoam trilogy, and it centers around the life and coming-of-rage of a woman who grew up in a country ruled by an authoritarian theocracy (comp titles would be The Handmaid’s Tale meets The Little Mermaid with a dash of Kill Bill in there). (2/4)
