Did you go for it? I've had a delta printer for 11 years. Which is brilliant. But fancy trying multicolour with a bigger build volume and the K2 seems *really* tempting.

We all know what the Chinese are doing. The question is why the British Government is bending over and letting them do it. Not sure if it is galactic level incompetence or straight treason.

I think they know that paper printers can spot attempts to duplicate bank notes and thought it was a similar issue. Or maybe geofencing drones. Will be interesting to see how it works out in reality.

I get the desire for law makers to prevent people shooting each other ... but the naivety involved here is staggering. Making an open source printer is easier than printing a gun. So why buy a printer when you can build an unrestricted one?

Or just buy a real gun.

It was clearly written by someone who simply has no idea how 3D printing works. A printer has no idea what it is printing. It's like getting Bic to make biros that can't write naughty words.

I wanted to reduce the height of my caravan chimney stack while it was under cover. 3D printed a Truma cap (designed by Jan Bielawski). My first threaded object and it fits perfectly.
