House Bill 700 | 135th General Assembly | Ohio Legislature

An Ohio representative introduced legislation making it a felony to plant a flag at the center of the field at OSU's stadium on gameday.

This was on 2024-12-10, in response to Michigan's flag planting after beating OSU. The bill died in committee.

This wasn't technically our first rivalry research presentation (that was in 2009, because we're old as), but it was after #NASSM 2014 (Pittsburgh) that things really took off. (2/2)
