In which other lines of work do you learn these types of things about people? There have to be a bunch, but this type of journalism certainly has a very distinct mix of tertiary psychological insights

I always use the example of a source of mine who tends to be most available when idling in their car upon arriving home to avoid/delay seeing their family.
