The pressure technique works while residents have both the residence level stairwell doors _and_ the exit door open during an evacuation? (I’m obviously not an engineer..)

I’d imagine the naysayers would say that a fire/smoke in the single exit path would be a problem. I’m new to this: please educate me on the counter to that argument..
