that was later on down the series, there was a genuine rumor about a "nude code" in the games and over time the devs kinda called back to it in several ways. one of the most known is the fakeout cheat

i think the appeal of them might have been the adventure and action aspects. its unfortunate u dont really get an understanding of that part cuz every publication needs to mention how hot lara is or something
