Protesting is more than just showing up on a lawn for a day, it's in every little action you can do to get your point across to decision makers and that includes calling until their ears bleed and then picking the phone back up.

See if you can start recognizing the voices of the different aids who answer the phone. Make it a game. You're allowed to be here. You're a client they can't fire. Do they send you cute little letters about their stances afterwards? Mail them back in tatters.
