Pokemon Lazarus is without a doubt one of the best Pokemon hacks I've ever played.
Yeah, it needs bug fixing, they need to fix the music, and it it's not polished up yet, but the game has enough content and features to push it up that high on the list for me.

100% worth a playthrough.

I just finished Pokemon Polished Crystal v3.1.1

If you're looking for a modernized version of the classic Pokemon Crystal, along with some extra content while staying faithful to the original game, this is absolutely a 10/10 hack. It's really incredible and has shot up to my top 3 hacks of all time

It's a hack that gets better as you go. It kinda gets meh around 8th badge but it's still fantastic and despite the need for polish it's definitely set a new standard for hacking, and probably more of a standard than Unbound set.

Some flaws:
-The music needs WORK. The new compositions are fantastic but do not reach their full potential -yet-
-Glitchy af
-At times I feel there needs to be more direction, but that might be a me problem

More great features:

-Follower Pokemon, which i always love.
-Multiple outfit choices that you can buy, and a portable PC you can earn
-You can get Lucky Egg and EXP.Share early, which can help diversify the difficulty of the game other than Normal/Hard mode
-Reasonable side quests

Favorite features:

-Stardew Valley fishing mechanic, it's nearly perfect.
-A lot of NPCs shown playing with their Pokemon, and lots of Pokemon walking around in the overworld, making the region feel alive
-The region feels big and the routes are designed unlike any other Pokemon hack i've played

It's faithful in the way in which is doesn't alter the energy or the feel from the original game much at all. There are a lot of hacks that add certain things that make it feel like a totally different game, but this one feels like the best version of Crystal is could possibly be.

So uh, my tails were tied together when I woke up this morning. Anyone know a good remedy for that? It's uh, painful.
