also worth noting that i didn’t immediately find this passage because the word “intersex” is never used. the term “people with unusual combinations of sex chromosomes” is confidently deployed in its stead
i guess you can just kind of make patently untrue bullshit up in academic texts if you sound confident enough about it. there are several very trivial examples of intersex designations that disprove this claim. searching online is free

the thing that sucks about being in data analysis or anything adjacent to it rn is that you know that genAI cant Actually replace you because on top of being useless in general, it’s useless at doing analytical work, but the people who control the future of your career dont understand that
