You can write the most concrete TOS you want stating how you don't want your work feeding that shit but that will not stop awful people from doing this. They don't have morals or ethics.

Artists give up an incredible amount of leverage trying to make twitter work when it is SO malicious towards what we do. From what the algo favours (not art) to treating artists as less than human

and now the threat of shitheads generating slop off of your work out of spite for your boundaries

I feel that whole thing could have been avoided if artist in question had scanned their profile for 30 seconds because said person was not subtle about being awful

I am more surprised that this episode wasn't the thing that made artists say "I need to get the fuck off twitter"

The hellstorm surrounding that nasty fuck snow leopard guy feeding art they commissioned to programs used to make genAI is exactly why I scan potential clients socials to get an idea of if they're a shithead or not

With the exception of effects like the dirt it was mostly made with vector lines and layers and layers of gradients to buff out the shapes in the panelling!
