It's surprisingly easy. You don't need anything tricky like a password or your voter registration number

Mmm, today I was having a very hard time leaving bed, I did a flail around thing like a toddler throwing a tantrum (with less screaming, I save that for driving down the highway) and that felt pretty good, lol, maybe a toddler tantrum flail would be helpful for you too.

Progressive Voter's Guide endorsement for Damarys Espinoza for Highline School Board, which she has been on since being appointed last March. "Much of Espinoza’s community leadership centers on environmental justice, public health, and Indigenous advocacy, and her voice on the school board is similarly aligned with a community-centric, progressive vision for our district."

The Progressive Voter's Guide profile on Ken Kemp running for Highline School Board. It is strikingly brief. It just says he was a finalist in the same process that appointed Espinoza and that he's basically just campaigning as a reactionary to her.

Progressive Voter's Guide endorsement of Angelica Alvarez for Highline School Board. She has served in this role for 4 terms. For 2 of those terms, she was board president. She is the child of immigrants. She is campaigning on accessibility and inclusion and the Guide believes she's done a good job.

The Progressive Voter's Guide profile on Sue-Ann Hohimer. She is a daughter of teachers and has been mayor of Normandy Park. Her campaign focuses on patriotism and quotes in the profile suggest that she only wants to hear from multi-lingual families if they're singing the praises of USA. https://progressivevotersguide.com/washington/2025/general/city/burien

I don't like: when she makes biscuits in my flesh (ouch)

I adore: when she makes biscuits in the air.

She's also been doing this thing where she'll come up and sit at my feet and look up at me and make little biscuits on the floor, which is approximately the cutest thing in the world

I’ve said this many times but it’s worth repeating:

When it comes to voting, we have an Election Day deadline.

When it comes to election results, we have an Election Week.

The more media sets this expectation, the less confusion and more trust we’ll have in our great vote by mail system. #waelex

I mean, the Southern ones being more focused makes sense though. They've got a lot of present pressing local issues, I'm sure.
Plus fewer leftists probably means less leftist in fighting? πŸ˜…

Hurried home from Portland to make sure I had enough time to fill out and turn in my ballot. Hopefully we can flip Burien away from all the NIMBY bullshit that's been prevailing

It's poking fun at the text blast Bruce Harrell sent out saying Katie Wilson is misleading us about her working class chops because her mom has helped "pay her bills" (really, it's just childcare and just recently to support the campaign), citing the Katie Campbell KOUW interview article

Lead Contamination from Shooting Ranges- Impacts & Solutions In this blog, you'll learn about lead contamination at shooting ranges, its environmental impacts, and effective solutions.

I am amused by this Texas environmental consulting company's subtle propaganda to get buy-in crgtexas.com/2024/06/27/l... If there's one group Texans want to believe they're better than, it's Californians 🀣
But it also seems like a decent overview of lead contamination concerns for gun ranges

I guess Fremont and Wallingford in Seattle have some similar walkable fun shopping districts like Portland's Hawthorne etc... They just have fewer stores that I specifically am into, and they're shit for parking and transit from where I live.
