He looks like if The Matrix was about being cis.

I also do not like jump scares and was totally fine. I loved it.
so we rescued a set of cinema film scanners
does anyone need a set of cinema film scanners?
if you have a need for a cinema film scanner (or can give it a good home!), and can arrange to have it transported from the Seattle area, message me on fedi or e-mail me at hello@alyx.sh
I did not follow it into 2021.
I like to be old and unaware of things until someone does something so outrageous it breaks through the I’m old veil.
Today I have learned there is some dufus named Jack Harlow.
depressingly accurate analysis of the situation
Happy pi(e) day, y’all!
I just told my cardiologist that my heart palpitations had stopped once I upped my patch and she had NO IDEA that might be a thing. 🤷🏻♀️
Also … more reputational damage

understand but I will miss ya! 🖤
anyhow, I hope it never happens to you but I'm sharing my story just in case it helps you or someone you love.
I knew about it and still took my 5-6 days the first time. they didn't want to give steroids to me when I actively had COVID but I managed to convince them.
I listened a lot of music but I also listened to audio books and read along. at first the words weren't identifiable, then it sounded like I was being read to by a robot, then I didn't need to read along anymore.
I also did something called CIMT for five hours, every day, for two months. the idea is your brain is quick to abandon pathways it perceives as dead so while you're healing you need to sort of keep that pathway open. www.nature.com/articles/sre...
I sent my doctor this the first go-around and, bless her, she read it and said "you got it" pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC...
you need steroids. high dose, not that small pack, you need at least one week at 60mg and another week with a taper. if you are referred to an ent and it'll be a few weeks ask your doc for them.
hearing loss, esp sudden hearing loss, is considered a medical emergency. like it's a go-to-the-ER-if-there's-no-urgent-care sort of medical emergency.
I talk publicly about this from time to time because it's 1) becoming more common and 2) timely treatment is absolutely vital.
this is anecdotal but my ent's (I've seen 4 of them) have all said that this is something that is becoming more frequent since COVID.
