The decor in this Berlin hotel had a strong topical start, but then it became clear that I was dealing with dark corporate forces.

04.12.2025 13:23 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I find the biggest challenge is that a faithful reproduction means having little to no asset reuse for building and environmental meshes. Not sure what engine you are using, but you will probably want to be using a ton of spline meshes and landscape meshes for a more organic feel.
04.12.2025 12:29 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It'd be interesting to know what proportion of radiators to solar panels you would need. Someone could work that out. Not me, but someone.

Labour galaxy brain at work.
Good luck rejecting all the generated heat in a vacuum. Radiators will do only so much.

It's not a bad question - I just hate that I don't have a good/funny answer.

01.12.2025 11:28 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0The suggestion of driving to a premier league stadium in the UK is another interesting difference, because you'd normally get a train or use other public transport. Driving/parking is discouraged and not feasible at scale, for the most part.

30.11.2025 18:06 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0It looks like a very insidious rights grab. The normal mechanical operation of a web server can do things that could technically infringe copyright (reproducing the user content in a served web page, basically). Some other things like reproducing via other media should be more discretionary. ...
