In GA-13, Dr. Jasmine Clark has rooted her campaign in accountability, truth, and a commitment to protecting democracy, healthcare, and public education. We're proud to endorse Dr. Clark because her proven leadership is what we need to beat back authoritarianism and deliver for working families.
My condolences go out to Officer Tamang’s family and friends, and I wish Cpl. Reed a speedy recovery. We must work together to end the scourge of gun violence in our communities.
Officer Tamang immigrated to the United States from Nepal, and leaves behind his fiancée and family. While I strongly condemn systemic police violence, and advocate for heavy reform, I also believe that no family deserves to have their loved one leave for work and not return home safely.
On the morning of Feb. 1st, Gwinnett Police Officer Pradeep Tamang, age 25, was killed in the line of duty, and Cpl. David Reed was also seriously injured while responding to a call not far from where I live in Stone Mountain, GA.

Audrey Lux files to run in Georgia House District 94 special election. Audrey announced today that she has officially qualified for the special election on March 10, launching a grassroots, progressive campaign centered on Affordability, Civil Rights, and Transportation.
