I will be doing Marin Open Studios for the next two weekends, May 3-4, and 10-11. I will be hosted by the Marin Society of Artists, at 1515 3rd St, San Rafael. I was honored to have my Sunny Ranunculus chosen for the cover of their artists guide and used in the advertising and promotional materials.

This is the last week for the Community of Digital Artists Show at the R. Blitzer Gallery, 2801 Mission St, Santa Cruz, open Thur. through Sat. Hope you can make it. Wonderful photography by many talented local artists.

I went to Bakersfield yesterday to see Bernie and AOC. The head of the farmworkers union spoke. Delores Huerta was there, who co-founded the union with Cesar Chavez. AOC and Bernie spoke so much kindness and common sense. I hope to see them again.

I would rather go out of my way than to spend money they then use to support the cheeto in chief. Boycott Amazon. Cancel prime. Amazon destroyed retail shopping and malls in this country.

Trump responds to protests. We all need to bring a friend to the next demonstration and increase the numbers.

Trump golfs while Americans protest.

Hands Off protest in Sacramento yesterday. There were many thousands of people there, speakers and music. Many creative signs including a guy wearing a cardboard tesla on fire, a penguin opposed to tariffs. It was inspiring to see really elderly grammas with signs on their walkers saying f*** tRump!

Good turnout tonight for the CODA Exhibit reception at the R. Blitzer Gallery. A couple of my favorites out of many favorites and one of mine. The show will be up until April 26th. Great to see so many talented photographers in the Santa Cruz area.

My daughter's bff was diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer last year, but the good news is she was selected for a German personalized vaccine. She will travel there 11 times this year for the treatments, all expenses paid by an anonymous donor. So happy for Sarah to have a serious chance at a future!
